The lonely days the horrid nights
I was so lost and broken.

You traveled out from Heaven's Gate
To earth so far below.
To ease the sorrow and the strain
So Fearless you would go.

So swift and full of love.

The angels come and take me there
To Heavens gate I traveled…
Just for a while, I'm not to stay.
Just so I don't unravel.

You walk where streets are golden.

Like story told in olden.

Your life was short in earthly years
But eternity you shine.
God came and took you home with HIM.
For You are HIS not mine.

I miss you so, I still can't see
How was it, I survived
But you were here to sooth my soul.

I know I'm coming one day soon
I never more will miss you.
I'll hold you close and hug you hard
And then I'm going to kiss you.
